Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from innovators, teams, and organizations who are passionate about solving real-world challenges with technology.
To ensure fairness and impact, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application. This ensures that participants have the maturity and independence to commit fully to the program.
While there is no strict academic requirement, applicants should demonstrate basic technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, or entrepreneurial interest. Both students and professionals are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must present an idea, product, or solution that addresses a real problem in society, business, or industry. The innovation should be practical, impactful, and scalable.
Applications are open to both early-stage concepts and more advanced prototypes. However, ideas should go beyond theory and show potential for real-world application.
Both individual innovators and teams are eligible. Teams must not exceed a specified maximum size (e.g., 5 members) and should clearly define roles and contributions.
Submitted projects must be the original work of the applicant(s). Plagiarized or duplicated work will be disqualified to maintain the integrity of the award.
Applicants from across Africa and the global community are welcome, provided their innovation demonstrates relevance and potential impact in their community or industry.
Shortlisted candidates must be available to participate in all required program stages — including workshops, bootcamps, mentorship sessions, and final presentations.
All innovations must comply with ethical practices and must not promote harm, discrimination, or exploit vulnerable groups. Projects should contribute positively to society.
Applicants must adhere to all rules, timelines, and submission requirements of the program. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
